Summary information

Land Rover Discovery 3 micro site

Conceptual Flash micro site for Land Rover Discovery 3 to support their January 2006 “Smooth ride” TV commercial. Based on the Arctic theme of the TV campaign the micro site has a scrolling panorama of the location used in the commercial. This includes animated hotspots (inuits, igloos, the mountain, etc) as the conceptual navigation. When the user clicks on a hotspot the panorama zooms into the associated section of the site. The sections of the site include Music (providing the user with functionality to choose his or her preferred music and promoting the car stereo), Drive (showcasing the cars driving ability), Videos (the UK and US versions of the TV commercial as well as a promo video displaying a professional driver on ice), Price (details of the vehicles cost), Win (a competition to win weekend Land Rover experience) and Contact (collates marketing data).

Bio

Born in East London and currently enjoy living in South London with the lady friend! Studied graphic design at Newham college in 1996 to 1998 and worked for an electronic media company in West London from 1999 to 2005. I now take pleasure in freelancing to put food on the table and visit far away lands.

Creative thinking graphic designer with 6+ years experience working in iDTV, the internet and various other media. Able problem solver with a pragmatic approach to providing visually engaging solutions. Aptitude for usability, accessibility and a meticulous eye for detail.

Peace! Stivsky.
